Video recording Tips & Tricks
Your one-minute video doesn’t need to be polished or professionally produced. A simple, clear explanation of your project and needs will have the greatest impact. Here’s how to make it work.
Keep it simple
Use your smartphone in a well-lit, quiet space. Film horizontally with steady hands (prop against something if needed). Natural daylight gives best results. Speak clearly and at a normal pace.
Content That Works
Start with your name and organisation (5-10 seconds). Briefly explain what help you need and why. Highlight the community impact. End with a specific request.
Quick Preparation
Jot down 3-4 key points before filming. Practice once or twice to stay under one minute. Don't worry about perfection - authenticity matters most.
